I'm not a Buddhist, but always fascinated by Buddhism art.

This beautiful god has 6 hands and each one has special  meanings.

私は仏教徒ではありませんが、仏教美術は大好きです。

６本手の菩薩様うつくしいです。思わずえがきたくなりました。

木版画「小さなギター」です。

I wanted to express the image of something like the moment of beatitude, like some kinds of easy tone of guitar in the pleasant gentle breeze.

かろやかなギターの音色、心地良いそよ風、至福のひととき。

そんなイメージを描きたいと思いました。

Printed on a light brown printing paper with black ink then painted some colors on it.

やや茶色の版画用紙に墨一色で摺った木版画に絵の具で着彩をしました。

Lullaby　（子守歌）

I've gotten many inspirations form music when I make my art works.

Music touches humans mind directly, influences many kinds of emotions.

It would be nice ,in the night, like a gentle tune of violin , the energy of ease, 

penetrate into the sleeping people's mind and let every emotional memories go and wake up in the morning like a new born baby.

優しく流れるバイオリンの音はまるで子守歌のようです。

夜、そんな癒しのエネルギーが眠っている人々の心に浸透して、

感情的な思い出はすべて手放し、朝には生まれたての赤ん坊のように

目覚めることができると良いと思います。

This Woodblock print is used two wood plates.

 One is for black color, another is for colors like blue and green. 

Printed them on paper then I painted more colors on it.

この絵には二枚の版木が使われています。

一枚は墨色用。もう一枚は青や緑の色用の版木です。

その二枚を摺り重ね、最後に絵の具で微妙な色を着彩しました。
